CNU has been selected for the Project to Strengthen the Research Capabilities of Basic Science governed by the MOE.
According to CNU, on June 8th, the Core Research Support Center for the Reliability of Smart Plants (Director: Professor Kim Yi-gon) at CNU’s Yeosu Campus was selected as this year’s recipient of the Project to Strengthen the Research Capabilities of Basic Science governed by the MOE, the National Research Foundation, and the Korea Basic Science Institute.
The 'Project to Strengthen the Research Capabilities of Basic Science' was designed to support the creation and operation of a core research support center (Core-Facility) specialized for each research field to improve university R&D capabilities and create a research ecosystem. Among 52 centers nationwide, 13 centers including CNU’s were finally selected.
It is also worth noting that CNU has been selected for the project for two consecutive years, as the CNU Core Facility for Energy Convergence Research was selected for the same project last year.
