Graduate School of English
The Graduate School of English cultivates skilled post-graduates with a superb command of English for various circumstances in order to actively respond to the international community where human and material exchanges at the global level are expanding. In the era of internationalization and globalization, we are focusing our capabilities not only to introduce overseas advanced culture but also to cultivate global leaders who will contribute to national and human development by further spreading Korean culture to the world.
Graduate School of International Trade
The Department of International Trade aims to foster talented individuals with knowledge in practical theories and policies related to international management, international trade, and international finance to equip them with the expertise necessary to operate in this field.
The subjects of the Department of International Trade include topics in international business management, studies on international trade theories, topics in international marketing, topics in international financial derivatives, international trade contract and marine insurance, topics in commercial practice of international trade, topics in e-commerce, topics in international financial management, etc. Courses educate advanced theories in each field and cultivate graduates' abilities to work in specialized institutions in international trade.
Graduate School of Transportation and Logistics
The Transportation Specialization in this department offers a systematic curriculum to train transportation professionals who have a comprehensive understanding of expertise in planning, designing, operating, and managing social overhead capital (SOC) such as roads, railroads, aviation, and ports.
The specialization provides an opportunity to acquire basic theories and expertise in all areas of transportation, such as transportation planning, transportation operation, transportation safety, cargo transportation, and intelligent transportation system (ITS).
The Logistics specialization is a field that studies the method of systematic planning, design, and efficient management of complex logistics systems using scientific management techniques. Students in the program will acquire specialized knowledge related to the region-connected industries such as business logistics, port logistics, global logistics, environmental logistics, and logistics information in which the demand for such a workforce is recently increasing.
After Yeosu, Suncheon, and Gwangyang were designated as free economic zones and with the efforts to foster the Gwangyang Port as a hub port in Northeast Asia, there are increasing demands for such a workforce in the region. Also, logistics has been selected as a key strategic industry in Jeollanam-do, so the area where graduates of this specialization could advance is expanding.

The Graduate School of Culture Contents aims to cultivate ICT-based convergence professionals in the 21st century culture contents field through strengthening the essential capabilities in the field of digital-based culture contents production, mobile-based software development, and e-commerce-based e-application fields.
